Ever since Daniela was young her family was not so wealthy. Daniela swore to herself saying she would never live like that when she was older, or to have her kids have to deal with what she had to deal with. Daniela was not picking when it came to jobs as long as she was making enough money to pay the bills and help support her family. Now Daniela is 17 and worrying on how her life will really end up. But as Daniela is walking down a strip mall an older woman with very short black hair comes up to her. “Excuse me, my name is Jennifer. I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful and tall you are. Have you ever thought about modeling?” Jennifer asks, as she looks closely at Daniela. Daniela looking at the ground then back at Jennifer saying.” Thank you, but I have not.” “Well I think you should. I am a manager of a modeling agency I could help you start off on your modeling career if you are interested??” Jennifer asks. Daniela has never thought of doing modeling. But just by the complement Jennifer gave her she wanted to do it.Daniela waited a second to make sure she really wanted to do this and said. “I’d love to.” After training for a couple days with Jennifer, Jennifer thinks she is ready for her first small runway show. Daniela is terrified by the idea but she is not letting anything hold her back. Jennifer is in the back of the show room with Daniela helping her with anything she needs. Many girls that are in the room have done this plenty of times before. And know what they are doing. Daniela sees how they are so good at their walks and how they are wearing there dresses. And frightens Daniela. A very tall and thin Sarah notices Daniela and knows that she is new to this. As Sarah watches Daniela stressing out she decides to talk to her. “Hey, my name is Sarah. What’s yours?” Sarah is slowly walking around a table. “Daniela.” Daniela not wanting to talk to Sarah. “You’re new at this right?” Asks Sarah, Sarah sits next to Daniela trying to let Daniela know she is someone she can actually trust and just talk to. “Yeah, this is my first time walking in a show. I’m really nervous. I was actually going to leave right before you came.” Daniela’s head is down wishing she hadn’t told Sarah that. “Why would you leave? I heard that some girls here think you are going to do great. And they do not like it. I have a tip for you, do not trust anyone.” Sarah says. Making sure Daniela hears her. Daniela does not know if she should even be talking to Sarah from what she just had said. As Daniela and Sarah talk a little more Sarah finds out that Daniela does not like walking in high heels. “I’ll be right back.” Sarah starts to speed walk towards the dressing room. Daniela just sits and tries to calm her nerves. As Jennifer comes up to Daniela, she tells her it is almost time to start the show. When Daniela walks into the little dressing room full of girls. She does not see Sarah, and wonders why. “Oh no!” Scream’s Daniela. “Is everything ok?” One of the stuck up designers asks. Daniela remembered one of Jennifer’s tips. “If something you get or you do not like, never complain about it.” “Um, no everything is fine.” Daniela says. When everything was not. Daniela could not walk in high heels and someone had given her one of the biggest heels. “Daniela, you’re on in 5mins.” The man helping all the models were to go says. Daniela is trying to walk in the high heels before she goes on. But it is too late and she is being pushed on to the stage. “I’m not going to fall.” Daniela is telling herself. As she walks back to the entrance of the runway she feels herself falling. Then a sharp pain in her ankle. Daniela suddenly realizes she has fallen down. It is almost like everyone in the whole room was quite and looking at her. Daniela was so embarrassed she just wanted to lay there and never get up. “Don’t worry Daniela, your ok.” Jennifer tries to make Daniela not feel horrible and embarrassed. “I’m ok. I just want to be alone.” Daniela says. And limps to the back door. As she sits on the stairs a young man who had been watching the show came up to her. “Are you ok?” He asks. “Yeah.” Daniela keeps her head down so the man could not see her face. “I think I know who gave you those heels, did you ever talk to a girl named Sarah today?” Asks the young man. Daniela suddenly feels stupid. Sarah even told her not to trust anyone but Daniela tells her one thing she is not good at. “Yeah I told her I wasn’t so good at walking in high heels. You don’t know how dumb I feel right now. She even told me not to trust anyone.” Daniela shouted, hitting her hands on her lap. “It’s ok. Everyone makes a mistake. And Sarah has been doing this to too many girls. She knows you can go far and does not want you to. Don’t be embarrassed and I’m not going to let you stop just because of one girl.” The young man’s thundering voice made Daniela snap out of her depression. “Thanks, I really wanted to stop modeling but you convinced me to stay.” Daniela now looking into the man’s eyes with courage. As Daniela gets older she becomes very successful. More then what she ever thought she would ever be. Daniela never thought she could be a model but now she is the most successful model out there. She always remembers Sarah’s tip. And also if someone tries to ruin there life, just don’t quit.
